Banda is a district in Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh. It is a district where not much development work has occurred since Independence.
Poverty and unemployment are rife. People die due to hunger and lack of health facilities. Farmers and poor people still commit suicides due to debt. Feudalism is common and crimes are rife.
Bureaucrats and Police officials tend to behave as rulers, rather than public servants. Their arrogance is breath-taking. Violation of human rights of people is far too common. Exploitation of poor people is rife. I have seen it all first hand. We ourselves had faced this situation from Police Dept only a few years ago. We chose to fight, rather than buckle, largely because we were able to stand up to them. We won, but this is not possible for many.
Banda has many issues, but it also has many things which are great. Our Mehmaan Nawaji (looking after guests) and value of words are unmatchable. Our simplicity (we are not complex or cunning) is praise-worthy! We are very hard-working. We should be proud of it. We are overall good people.
The bad situation exists only because good people in Banda (Whole heaps of Banda people are hard-working, honest, decent and fantastic people) have accepted the Status Quo (Hoye koi nrip hame ka hani, Cheri chor na hove rani) and allow the current situation to persist. The second big reason is the quality of leaders from Banda. Many MPs and MLAs have openly used less than standard tricks to win elections. Caste and religion factors have played big roles in the elections. Money and Alcohol often play a role. This can’t be good by any definition.
This all need to change, and this change needs to start from ourselves. This change needs to start soon too!
We must follow what Mahatma Gandhi said “Be the change you want to see in the world”! Let us show that we mean it this time.
The questions we need to ponder over include;
Why do we vote based on the caste of the candidate?
Why do we vote based on the religion of the candidate?
Why do we vote for those who have crime background?
Why do we vote for those who are bullies (Goondas)?
Why do we vote for people who have no education or integrity?
Why do we vote for those who will sit in the Assembly or Lok Sabha just to raise hands?
We must think about it all quite seriously.
This all need to change!
Let us vote for someone who is;
educated,
not into crimes,
not in bullying (Goondagardi),
or into corruption.
Let us vote for someone who will work for people, not himself/herself!
Let us vote for someone who is coming into politics for public service, not for money making!
Let us vote for someone who can think, network, influence key people and Govt, and deliver things for Banda, UP, which Banda deserves!
Let us evaluate the quality and purpose of various candidates and give our votes to the best person on these parameters, not caste or religion of the candidates!
I am sure that good people of Banda will agree with me that it is a uncivilized behaviour to vote for someone just because that person is from my caste. How can we give preference (our votes) to a “bad” person when we have a better person even if that better person is not from my caste or religion? Surely, a scum from my caste can not be better than a Mahatma (Saintly person) from other castes! Casteism is a curse in our society!
If we wish to change Status Quo, we must elect only those who have intellectual capacity and integrity to be our representatives. We must ask them what they will do to change the picture of Banda. We must ask not only this, but many more questions. Helping us get Gun licenses alone will not help. We must debate in regards to who deserves to be our MP and MLA.
We are civilized people. Let us all re-assert ourselves to be decent and civilized people!
Let us change Banda and Banda’s fate!
Let us change the perception about Banda!
A revolution must start from this Lok Sabha election on 30th April, 2014 itself!

बांदा, उत्तर प्रदेश संसद के एक प्रभावी और उत्पादक सदस्य के हकदार हैं! डॉ. यदु सिंह
बांदा बुंदेलखंड , उत्तर प्रदेश में एक जिला है. यह ज्यादा नहीं विकास कार्य आजादी के बाद से हुई है , जहां एक जिला है.
गरीबी और बेरोजगारी व्याप्त हैं . लोगों को भूख और स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की कमी के कारण मर जाते हैं. किसान और गरीब लोगों को अभी भी कर्ज के कारण आत्महत्या करने की. सामंतवाद आम है और अपराधों व्याप्त हैं .
नौकरशाहों और पुलिस अधिकारियों बल्कि सरकारी कर्मचारियों के अलावा शासकों के रूप में व्यवहार करते हैं . उनके अहंकार सांस ले रहा है . लोगों के मानव अधिकारों के उल्लंघन के अभी तक बहुत आम है . गरीब लोगों का शोषण व्याप्त है . मैं यह सब पहली हाथ देखा है . हम खुद ही कुछ साल पहले पुलिस विभाग से इस स्थिति का सामना करना पड़ा था . हम उन्हें करने के लिए खड़े करने में सक्षम थे क्योंकि मोटे तौर पर , बल्कि बकसुआ से लड़ने के लिए चुना है . हम जीत गए , लेकिन यह कई के लिए संभव नहीं है .
बांदा कई मुद्दों पर है , लेकिन यह भी महान हैं जो कई चीजें हैं. हमारे मेहमान Nawaji ( मेहमानों की तलाश के बाद ) और शब्दों का मूल्य unmatchable हैं . हमारी सादगी ( हम जटिल या चालाक नहीं हैं ) प्रशंसा योग्य है ! हम बहुत कड़ी मेहनत से काम कर रहे हैं . हम इस पर गर्व होना चाहिए . हम समग्र अच्छे लोग हैं .
बांदा ( बांदा लोगों के पूरे ढेर परिश्रमी, ईमानदार, सभ्य और शानदार लोगों को कर रहे हैं ) में अच्छे लोगों जस ( होए कोई nrip hame का हानी , Cheri चोर होव रानी एनए) स्थिति स्वीकार किए जाते हैं और अनुमति है ही क्योंकि खराब स्थिति मौजूद दृढ़ रहना करने के लिए वर्तमान स्थिति . दूसरा बड़ा कारण यह है कि बांदा से नेताओं की गुणवत्ता है. कई सांसदों और विधायकों खुलेआम मानक गुर चुनाव जीतने के लिए की तुलना में कम इस्तेमाल किया है. जाति और धर्म कारकों चुनावों में बड़ी भूमिका निभाई है . पैसे और शराब अक्सर एक भूमिका निभाते हैं. यह किसी भी परिभाषा से अच्छा नहीं हो सकता .
यह सब बदलने की जरूरत है , और इस परिवर्तन खुद से शुरू करने की जरूरत है . यह बदलाव भी जल्द ही शुरू करने की जरूरत है!
हम महात्मा गांधी ” आप दुनिया में देखना चाहते परिवर्तन हो ” क्या कहा पालन करना चाहिए ! हम इसमें इस समय इसका मतलब यह है कि दिखाते हैं.
हम पर गौर करने की जरूरत सवालों में शामिल हैं ;
क्यों हम उम्मीदवार की जाति के आधार पर मतदान करते हैं?
क्यों हम उम्मीदवार की धर्म के आधार पर मतदान करते हैं?
क्यों हम अपराध पृष्ठभूमि है जो उन लोगों के लिए मतदान करते हैं?
क्यों हम बदमाशों ( गुंडे ) कर रहे हैं जो उन लोगों के लिए मतदान करते हैं?
हम क्यों नहीं शिक्षा या ईमानदारी है , जो लोगों के लिए वोट करते हैं?
क्यों हम सिर्फ हाथ बढ़ाने के लिए विधानसभा या लोकसभा में बैठेंगे , जो उन लोगों के लिए मतदान करते हैं?
हम काफी गंभीरता से यह सब के बारे में सोचना चाहिए .
यह सब बदलने की जरूरत है !
हमें है , जो किसी के लिए वोट करते हैं ;
शिक्षित ,
नहीं अपराधों में ,
नहीं बदमाशी ( Goondagardi ) में ,
या भ्रष्टाचार में .
हमें खुद / खुद को , लोगों के लिए नहीं काम करेगा , जो किसी के लिए वोट दें!
हमें सार्वजनिक सेवा के लिए नहीं, पैसा बनाने के लिए राजनीति में आ रहा है , जो किसी के लिए वोट दें!
हमें बांदा के हकदार हैं , जो उत्तर प्रदेश , नेटवर्क , प्रभाव प्रमुख लोगों और सरकार लगता है , और बांदा के लिए चीजों को वितरित कर सकते हैं , जो किसी के लिए वोट दें!
हमें विभिन्न उम्मीदवारों की गुणवत्ता और उद्देश्य का मूल्यांकन करते हैं और जाति या उम्मीदवारों का धर्म , इन मानकों पर सबसे अच्छा व्यक्ति के लिए हमारे वोट नहीं दे !
उस व्यक्ति मेरी जाति से है , सिर्फ इसलिए कि मैं बांदा के अच्छे लोगों के लिए यह किसी के लिए वोट करने के लिए एक असभ्य व्यवहार है कि मेरे साथ सहमत होगा कि यकीन है. हम चाहते हैं कि बेहतर व्यक्ति मेरी जाति या धर्म से नहीं है , भले ही एक बेहतर इंसान है जब हम कैसे एक “” बुरा व्यक्ति को वरीयता ( हमारे वोट ) दे सकता है? निश्चित रूप से, मेरे जाति से एक मैल अन्य जातियों से एक महात्मा ( पुण्य व्यक्ति ) की तुलना में बेहतर नहीं हो सकता! जातिवाद हमारे समाज में एक अभिशाप है !
हम यथास्थिति को बदलने के लिए चाहते हैं, हम केवल उन बौद्धिक क्षमता और ईमानदारी है जो हमारे प्रतिनिधि होने का चुनाव करना चाहिए . हम वे बांदा की तस्वीर बदलने के लिए क्या करेंगे उन्हें पूछना चाहिए . हम केवल यही नहीं, लेकिन कई और सवाल पूछना चाहिए . हमें अकेले गन लाइसेंस मिल मदद में मदद नहीं करेगा . हम अपने सांसद और विधायक जाना चाहिए जो करने के संबंध में बहस करनी चाहिए.
हम सभ्य लोग हैं. हम सभी को सभ्य और सभ्य लोग होने के लिए खुद को फिर से जोर चलो !
हमें बांदा और बांदा की किस्मत बदल दो!
हमें बांदा के बारे में धारणा बदल दो!
एक क्रांति 30 अप्रैल 2014 पर ही इस लोकसभा चुनाव से शुरू करनी चाहिए

Distt Banda is very short of Railway Transport facility.Railway facility is great symbol of Development which Distt Banda (U.P.) IS Lagging
